Individualized and Motivating One-on-One Sessions Online

Before

The main goal is for my tutoring to be tailored to you and your student's unique needs, and my flexible scheduling and carefully-prepared lessons reflect this. After completing my initial sign-up form, I will contact you to put your student's first session on the calendar and address any questions or concerns you may have.

I will send reminder emails to you and your student with the zoom meeting ID and passcode ready-to-go before each and every session. Open communication with me throughout this process is encouraged so I can be sure to personalize the experience to the fullest extent possible before we begin. 

In order for us to get the most out of each session, some information in advance from you or your student is essential.

Note that all of my online sessions are one-on-one. I do not tutor multiple students at once. This is simply due to the fact that individual sessions provide the best results and my undivided attention to them, and only them, will make sure that nobody will ever feel overlooked.

During

Your student's first session with me is always free of charge. Each session typically lasts for one hour. If less or more time would better suit your needs, I may be able to work with your schedule.

Each online session will be recorded. This is not only for liability reasons but also for the convenience of you and your student. After each session, you will both be emailed a copy of the recording. This can be used for reference as your student works on homework or classwork and would like to remember what was said in our lessons.

We can work on homework, prepare for an upcoming test or exam, or follow a customized lesson plan that I have prepared.

If your student would prefer to work on homework, please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that we will complete it within the hour. Even though I will be as efficient as possible in my support, I will always favor quality over quantity. Gaps will be addressed and foundations will be built. I will never move on from a topic or concept unless it is at least partially understood.

After

A comprehensive session summary email, phone call or text is always guaranteed. After each session, I will provide you with a detailed summary containing topics discussed, formulas, tips, and tricks to remember, and ways your student can prepare for our next session if appropriate. Whether this summary is emailed, texted, or personally over the phone is up to you.
